I was wondering how often do you wax the car? Do you go to the dealer?
With all the rain and mud around in the pacific NW, my car gets dirty very fast and I hate driving a dirty car.
What do you all suggest for regular wash? Just water and soap or the automatic car washes?

I wax my car 3 times/year - planned on doing it again this weekend but have 90% chance of rain.
I wash it once a week and try to avoid the automatic washes that use the rolling brushes. Every once in a while, in a pinch, I'll cheat and go through a touchless automatic system, but they don't really do a good job...
