I am looking for a AGW, I have the following part numbers, and what I think they are:

2118274642 AUDIO GATEWA BE9006 <---- 2003 Gateway?


2118701589 AGW LOGIC 7 BE6035<---- Newer Gateway?

I looked on the russian part # website but neither # are there:

What I need to know is which part and model numbers are the newer ones that will work with my 2003 E500. I am terribly confused.

The correct answer would be: you are from the US, subscribe to on-line EPC for free and you can find all the parts that detali does not have because their data is not completely up-to-date.

If I made a correct calculation, I found 43 different AGW units for an early W211. Since it depends also on the accessory options on the car, it would be better to enter VIN to make EPC show a narrowed down selection of parts.

Your first part appears to be for sound system but not all the parts you list.

 

I think the A211 870 15 89 would be the newer one and comes with cooling fan while the old one does not. I think this should be considered as an upgrade for early build W211 US with audio 50 APS.

 

Even this one has been used till 07/2005. This one is probably the latest one: A211 870 69 89.

 

Thanks, I subscribed to the EPC and got some info from there. Seems that the A211 870 15 89 is a replacement unit, as it does not state that it has been replaced.

I will take it to my SA and see if they will do a courtesy replacement, but I doubt it.
