Rear deck panel?

My rear seat panel behind the headrest has taking a beating from the sun. I have black interior but its taken on a blueish hue. Easy to replace? if so, any ideas on cost?

thanks

LOL... Years ago that "panel" used to be called the "Rear Hat Shelf" or the "Package Shelf"

Not use if its possible or not but you might be able have it re-upholster at any trim shop or even dye or use fabric paint to restore the color.

I actually have an almost brand new one at home. I have the charcoal and black interior. I also have rear folding seats. I have it because my W124 had an electric shade for the rear window, and I wanted to have the same on this W211. So I purchased a new one that had a slot for the electric rolling shade.

My hat shelf was in the car for 3 months and of that time, the car has been in the garage. If you want it I will cut you a deal. Send me a PM. You might be able to find the thread that I started about the rear shade retrofit.

Here is the original post (if you scroll down) that shows the new hat shelf with the electric shade. Obviously, the original hat shelf would not have the cut where the shade goes.

If not mistaken, i think the fold down and non fold down panels are different.
Could be wrong. Only going by pics ive seen from searching the forums.

I am sure there is some difference (perhaps), but I think that the difference would probably be more of an issue if you were trying to fit the hat shelf of non folding seats to the car with the folding seats, but who knows?

I just thought that I should mention that I have this since it is still sitting (nicely wrapped) in my basement storage room.

Yeah, my rear seats do not fold down.
