Internal Rear motion sensor
Good morning and happy christmas to you all.
May i ask for some advice on the internal alarm sensor.
I have an E320 CDi (03). recently it has developed a problem with the internal rear alarm sensor (The one that pops down from the roof). The problem is as when i lock the car and the internal motion sensor pos out the alarm goes off. I thought i may have a spider or something crawling inside the car but after investigation this does'nt seem to be the case. I sat inside the car and activated the alarm, waited for the sensor to pop out and noticed it is making a noise, like a high very quiet high pitched noise, barely audiable, but it is definatly this component that it setting the alarm off. The answer i am after relates to warranty and whether its covered ??
