Right mirror tiltdown
Hoping this question has not already been answered...
My friend JC is unhappy that his '07 E320 Bluetec's right hand mirror doesn't tilt down in reverse. We know MB disabled this feature a few years back and would like to reactivate it again.
Possible?

Yup, repost. There are posts on this, the availability, etc. Sometimes it depends on the actual build date, other times on DAS programming through the dealer.

Perhaps not. MB has eliminated a number of items which caused endless warranty claims and this is just one example. Went away in '06 according to my sales guy and the service dept.
I'm looking for hard information on how to activate it and it will be by the tech using his laptop, not by a display menu item.
