Option codes
Hi all,

Does anyone have a list of the different option and equipment codes that are available for the E class? I am looking at the owners manual of my car and I see a page with loads of 3-digit numbers of them. I know that, for instance that 744 is the color of my car, but I would like to know what the other dozens of codes are.

Richard
PM member Konigstiger on this board. He can send you a data card for your vehicle which will show the options and codes. Not sure if he has a complete list of all options offered on W211's. But if such a thing exists, he's a great place to start.

Does he already have a data card? The owner's manual should not sate the colour of the car?

Hi,

Yes at the last page of my manual there was an add-on page that has all the codes on it. I just needed to know what they are.

OK, it isn't part of the manual to me then but never mind. Is it this 2003 car? You should find the data card with explanation from here:
http://old.mbclub.ru/mb/vin/?lng=eng

If you don't want to post your VIN, you can always ask for more info about any specific option codes, or even all of those on your car.
