Cleaning Nav Screen
I tried searching this forum but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for, so hopefully you guys can chime in with your opinion.
What do you use to clean the NAV screen (and the wood grain)?
I usually just wipe it with a cotton terry cloth to remove dust (and/or fingerprints)
- "Is this touch screen?"
- "No, it isn't, stop touching it".
I hate that.
I don't like the oily feel some wood cleaners have so I don't use anything for that, and I wouldn't dream of putting something on the screen. Do you guys do something different?
TIA.

I used to put Pledge on my wood wheel on my other E , but I noticed that after 3 years the grain on the leather part of the wheel in the area ajacent to the wood had become flat, ungrained and shiny, with some of the color faded off the leather, so on this one I just use a small terry towel very lightly dampened with warm water on the wood.
As for the screen I spay a small amount of eyeglass cleaner (made for anti reflective lenses) on a Bounty paper towel & ever so lightly wipe it in one direction horizontally.
Do we own these cars or do these cars own us?

i think you should just stick to water and a mf towel. using products might hurt the wood and screen in the long run. water should do the trick since the screen wont have to many prints. goodluck
Screen cleaners for LCD screens should work fine and as they said a Micro Fiber cloth.
As for the wood, I had a question. What has anyone used to get scratches out of the overcoat? Do you think the cleaners / polishes that are used to take scratches off of cell phone or ipod screens would work well for this?
