Car is delayed because........
of mismatched "tow hook" covers, its at the port currently......our salesperson has told me of this problem before (about a month ago on why a car was delayed), the customer got fed up waiting and bought a Lexus instead. Supposidely this is a problem on a bunch of cars there currently, definitely sucks.
Hope it arrives before the year of the flood.

Six weeks ago, my dealer had a single E320 Sport in the showroom with a missing rear tow hook cover, if that's the small square in the rear bumper. I commented, and they said "MB was sending another". I sure doubt anyone would fill up a port terminal with $50K cars to avoid mailing a 2 square inch piece of plastic, and Baltimore/Bel Camp cleared that one through without any problems.

It is ridiculous, the dealer has asked them to release the cars and would take care of the situation themselves. Whoever is in charge at the port will not release the cars. There have been several cars that have arrived without owners manuals, those are being held as well.

That is unbelievable all for tow hook covers. Don't understand why the car wouldn't be released and the covers can be replaced later. Very poor customer service. Hopefully MB will get someone with a brain up there and release those cars. Good luck.
