Finally, a brighter W5W wedge bulb!
I finally found a brighter W5W wedge bulb, see link below. I always thought that the parking lights on the front were too dim, ie. the bulbs directly under the high beams. These W5W are 10W (versus 5W) and definitely brighter.

The description says Xenon Miniature Bulbs but it sure looks like a regular halogen to me. I wonder if the 10 watts will still trigger the light malfunction alert? Try it out and get back to us.

See attached pics, left=10W and right=W5W (OEM). It obviously brighter. Its best described as "filling out" the parking light completely. Also, the 10W wedge bulb hasn't triggered any error codes, so far after 2-days.

They look like a brighter off white. Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the PIAA xtreme white and a couple other brands supposed to give off a whiter light closer to HID light? I've received my PIAA's, but am waiting to receive my set of HOEN's to compare both sets. At least that's what I've read from other members. This thread has great pics...
