It needs to grow in size a tad bit. My W210 was bigger or at least felt larger than the current W211

I dont like it very much. i think id rather just go and but a 2006 E55 and call it a day instead of waste my time on something like that. the entire setup id totally different. it doesnt even look like an E class anymore.

I guess that is close to how the real W212 will look like. I wonder when we will see the premiere. Will it be late this year or in 2009? Anyway I am not really fond of all the latest Mercedes models. The last models I am attracted to is the S class and the CL.

Did Mercedes hire Chris Bangle !? This pseudo Japanese morpho-mess is exactly what drove me away from BMW when the new 5 Series was launched. 5 years later, and I still think most new Bimmers are fugly, so I don't think this will 'grow on me' either. Guess it's time to look at an Audi......?

These pics are not new, there is a German MB spy pics site which has posted them for several months. That being said, these images are probably pretty close to what W212 will look like.
I personally like the look of rear profile better than the front, but will reserve judgement until we see the real thing. The only item that was a bit disturbing, to my taste anyway, were the interior shots we saw a few months back....they did not look at all enticing, but I will wait until we see the real car until saying anything more.

Those pictures are pretty much the real deal. Initial writing about the W212 always said it was gonna be a larger version of the latest 'C' class,and as I'm sure all will agree,it is just that. Not bad,but I can't help but think Mercedes has taken far too many cues from the Japanese ,especially when it comes to rear end design....
