2016 E350

Spare Tire Cost

I have a 2004 E320.

I suspect that my spare tire was stolen while car was with a restaurant valet.

Does anyone know what a new one is supposed to cost? I want to find out if possible before calling around to different dealers.

Yes, can you believe someone freakin took the donut spare?

As for insurance, my deductible is $500. I have a speeding ticket so I had to find ways to get my insurance premium lower.

spclagent7, you may be able to get a full sized spare (a used 225/55-16 tire) for less than the cost of a new compact spare.

This may be a silly question, but are you sure the spare was in the trunk when you bought your used car from the dealer last year? Maybe you never had one? I can't imagine a valet needing a donut spare for an E-Class.
