Rear Brake Noise In 2003 E320
I am hearing possibly rt rear noise as if its a pump after start and driving for few miles and then stopping. then it stops. it will eventually come back.

You may be unaware that the car has an electric pump that pressureizes the braking system. Search SBC in this forum. It is, however, located in the engine bay so I am not sure if that is what you are referring to. It runs periodically and is triggered by several activities, one of which is opening the driver's side door. Lots of controversy in this group as to whether it is the best thing going or an engineering disaster. Mostly sorted by those who have had complete brake failure and those who have not
Mine does not have air suspension. Option on 320 and std on 500 /550. Could be the air compressor?
