Looking to buy a CL
Hello, Newbie here!!!!
I just purchased an 03 E500 with 21k on the clock. Mint car, love it. Just have a few questions.
1st question is, how many quarts of oil does it take? (manuel was lost at dealer)
2nd, Can I drive in the W mode at all speeds??? Or is there a limit to the MPH?
3rd, I get a ticking sound ever so often but goes away after 1 min or so. My BMW X5 does this once in a while, but that is when it is adjusting the cams for better fuel, and air mix. I'm assuming this is the same since its not a knock but a light tick. Engine is smooth as silk and very quiet.
Finally, I searched the forum on how to reset the sevice indicator. I found one, but can I do this everytime some light goes on? Plus, it says service E is due in 9,987 miles? Whats service E? I thought there is only service A, and B. All info would be very helpful to me, I thank you in advance and look forward to your responses.

If you register your car with mbusa.com, as the new owner, you will be able to download a PDF version of the car manual. You may be able to find the manual another way, but that is how I got my copy.
