Significant voice command problem
Hey guys,
First post in the E class forums. Just got an 08 E550, and already running into problems
. Whenever I try to hit the button to say a voice command, the wifey (or soon to be wifey 
) decides to open her mouth at the EXACT same moment, and speak. This malfunction in "wifey" causes the command to not go through. Does anyone else experience this issue, and is there any fix to mute wifey-interruption? Unfortunately, warranty expired on wifey, and trading up is not an alternative.

Opportunities for getting a word (or voice command) in edgewise is a rare in my 08 E350 as well. Good luck.

Joking aside, try re-training Voice Command to recognize "your" voice better.. that might filter out the extra "noise". As I recall, you retrain Voice Command via the [System] button.
Alternatively, next time you encounter the same problem, you could always just casually mention that "even GUNS have silencers.." ... and leave it at that.
