so I think my E320 has developed a small rattle. it happens over imperfections on the road such as manholes and seems to be coming from center dash. its not a squeak, but more of something resonating and it lasts for a few seconds when it happens.

Stereo typically drowns it out, but still annoying. Any one have the same issue?

Nothing so far. The car is very tight even on rough roads.

 

Sigh. I feel like an idiot. Turns out the rattle was my employee parking badge that I had stuck between the windshield and the rain sensor housing. Hasn't rattle for a month, but just started doing so.

So yes, my E320 is rattle free.

 

Well potxoli at least you found it yourself instead of taking it to the dealer and them telling you what was causing it!
