Roof?

Hello all,

How does your sliding roof work? Mine used to open automatically (one touch), and slide back (to close) automatically as well. But that would sometimes haltand start, so the dealer replaced a controller. So now it opens OK< but it no longer closes automatically. I need to keep the button pressed all the way now to close.

How about yours?

Michael

Michael: Try tilting the rear of the sunroof open, and continue to hold the switch in the open (up) position for about 5 seconds. This resets the auto features. Mine will auto slide open and closed. I learned the reset on my C320 which occasionally lost it's auto function. I believe they work similarly.

Michael,

I notice mine actually has "2 clicks" to get to the auto-close feature. Push the sunroof button to a slight resistance, then push again past the resistance and let go. After this click is when the auto-close is activated in my car.

PS - yes, that was me at howardforums

I figured it was! Sony Ericsson T68i here. :-)

OK, I'll try that and the other suggestion.

Nope

No, resetting does not help, and nor does the two-position switch: mine will simply no longer close automatically after the control unit was replaced. Back to the dealer again.
