So my father has recently acquired a 2004 E500 and he told me that it was loaded. I just got done checking it out and I'm almost positive that this car has been modified and maybe retrofitted with parts? I'm not an expert on the W211, so I thought maybe some of you could tell me if we just got the most factory loaded E500 in the country or if this car has indeed been modified.

This has car: euro bi-xenons?, a little tint, keyless go, power closing trunk, rear digital climate control, heated and cooled seats, ipod hookup in glove box, front and rear parktronic, active seats, heated steering wheel, voice command, and this box on top of the trunk, rear side window shades.

All of those are available on 2004 models. Actually the earlier W211s have more options available than later ones. The rear climate is standard on the E500. Additional options it could have would be distronic, and a pano roof with solar panel, and possibly more. But a nicely optioned car indeed.

How do you know it is "euro" bi-xenon?

 

The Box on the trunk could be the Satellite Radio Antenna. I don't know if Ipod kits were available from the factory in '04.
