Looks great. Any chance on posting or PMing the part numbers of list of parts needed to convert it??

I would love to do the wifes car. I think she is feeling left out.

I am redoing my entire car. Interior, brakes, and exterior...

Can i swap in my 2008 E 550 fender for the 2008 E 63 front bumper or do i need to change the side panels. How about the fog lights? I have a E 550 with AMG package and it doesnt look too agressive. But nice job up there!!!!!

You would have to switch out the whole bumper as well as the fog lights and grills.

You don't have to change the hood. You will have to change the front grill, fog lights and fog light grills.

was '03 E320 - now - '04 S4
Looks like a really clean job. Well done.

Personally I would have opted to get a slightly used E55 but to each their own.

The grill is different between the E 550 and the E 63? Do i need to change the grill or is it ok if i just leave on my original E 550 grill?

i like it and the drop is perfect on the car. but if i was you i would have done the new headlights and got the new tail lights. i got the new tail lights for 500LED but they got them at the dealer without led for like 350. and the new headlights are just amazing, my cousin did it on his E500, the only thing hes missing on the car that you got is that rear bumper, we just got the 55 bumper not the 63 bumper with that little strip on the bottom of the diffuser. Very nice though
i attached a pix of the headlights if yo want to see.

I do like the new tail lights but figured I'd do that later...and I kinda like the ones I have now. I have another mod coming soon...I may also be switching to the 07-08 folding side mirrors but I haven't decided yet.

Yeah the only place you can get the AMG Kit from is the dealership. My shop had to order it direct from Fletcher Jones....and it was a bit pricey!

Thanks!

There are a pair of SL55 mufflers with tips for sale in the classifieds here and also over at myMBonline.com for a good deal from Robert. I almost bought them before I ended up getting another set that were closer for me to pick up. Here is the link to the ad: http://www.mymbonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9382

Oh okay nice! I didn't know the SL55 Exhaust would fit on the E so just wanted to see what it would've looked like.

What about exhaust cutouts? How much does it on average cost? Any recommended places in SoCal?

Thanks.

Call Ed or John at HMS-Harbor Motor Sports in Santa Ana: www.harbormotorsports.com; I'm sure they could do it because they do all kinds of custom mods on our cars. Tell either of them that JimmydaGreek sent you and you're from MBWorld; they'll take care of you...
