I have a couple of questions that I know the experts on here can answer.

I recently traded in my perfect 99 E320 for a 2005 E500. It has a sticker sheet of $64,270, and 25,000 miles on it. Paid 30K less. I can not believe the huge difference between my old ride and this one!!

Questions - It has the #426 prem package ($3,950) - what is in this? Harmon Kardon?

Also the 051 voice hands free option for ($1,450) - What can I do with this package? I use an Iphone and a Sprint Treo currently, just got rid of my Razr.

Has every option I know of except Pana roof (mine has normal Glass). It also has the seat controls for massage or whatever they are.

Can I hook up my IPOD into the system somehow also? How about DVD movies?

1. if you look inside your glove box.. at the top and center .. you should have a female stereo miniplug where you can jump from your ipod headphone out to this jack and listen to your Ipod via the AUX input.
2. no DVD movies ....
3. with my car.. I have the blue tooth adapter $450 that plugs into the adapter that is in the "clam opening" center console.. using this adapter and my Motorola Q telephone.. I am able to have my complete address book show up in the dash system of the car and accessible via the voice activation.. you can have up to 5 different phones that will work.

Although the HK system is not bad, what can I do to add more watts to make it louder? Can I add another power amp?

Also, what can I do with the Voice option mine came with since I use an Iphone and Sprint Treo?

I have to say.... I came from the old school of hi fidelity using ADS amps and speakers when you could make a car system sound really good instead of just really loud.... using my I Touch and Aux input.. the HK stereo actually sounds pretty good (I suggest playing the ipod on "flat" and 95% volume).

I don't think the expense and trouble of changing the amps / crossovers / speakers/ and wiring would net that big of an improvement.

with my motorola Q.. it will pull up and dial names via voice with no problem...(though, it is faster to just do it by hand with the phone.

I ordered the Iphone adaptor - paid 420 on EBAY - will let you know if it works well. I did call MB and they confirmed the model numer adaptor I bought as the correct one.
