W211 crash test result
EuroNCAP just crash tested a new E Class, along with a number of other cars. The E did well, achieving a 5-star rating (the best possible). However, a few cars are rated better numerically (EuroNCAP uses both a star rating and a points system). For example, the W203 C Class gets a better frontal collision rating than the E, and a couple of Renaults (notably the hideous Vel Satis) are superior to both in some respects and even overall (shock, horror 
)
