AdBlue question for you BlueTec guys
Do you have any problems starting the BlueTec car "right up" after extended parking in sub freezing temperatures (or does the urea line require thawing first)?
How long will your BlueTec car operate after the AdBlue urea is depleated (or will it go into "service" or "limp" mode)?
In the North American model: Can the owner easily fill the AdBlue tank when it runs low? Can the owner buy the AdBlue from the dealer? Is the AdBlue only refillable BY the dealer?
Did the AdBlue TANK replace the spare tire? Do the BlueTec cars HAVE a spare tire (or do they have run-flat's)?
Thank you.

There have not been any Mercedes with the adBlue system sold in the USA at this point.
IIRC there may be some leased in California, which is normally not a cold weather environment.
USA E-class have had runflat spares for some time now (I've fitted a full-size one in ours). The Alabama cars all come with runflats and don't have the space for full-size spares.
AdBlue fluid should last the length of a normal oil change interval, i.e. 10-13K miles. If the EPA did it the right way, DIY messing with this system should be impossible.

The facts are in regarding the '09 BlueTec/AdBlue equiped ML/GL's, no spare tires (due to the AdBlue tank being installed in its place).
Can I assume that the new AdBlue equiped E320 BlueTec's will also loose the spare altogether?
