Reasonable Price - '05 320 CDI

Hi all - Been lurking for awhile now and am finally ready to make the jump to an '05 E320 CDI.

I have been researching pricing on lower mile cars and the numbers are all over the place. Granted what is being asked is not what is being paid. Some of the cars I have been looking at have been on the lots for over 90 days.

What seems reasonable to pay for an '05 E320 CDI with Nav, Heated Seats, HK Audio, Moon Roof, Ski Sack and a low mileage of 30,000. CarFax is clean and I had my local MB Shop run a report on service - everything came up clean. Still in warranty 'till almost the end of the year. This is a private party sale.

That MVI report is a great thing. I was going to buy an '05 with the above options, similar miles and Dynamic Seating for $31k - but my tech rep said that there were 3 attempts/replacements of the oil sump because of leaks - plus numerous other warranty repairs, he said that he had a bad feeling about the car (perhaps a Monday or Friday build) and I passed on it....

So what do you think $$ wise? It's out of state for me, not that that should be an issue price wise.

Thanks in advance.
