Easy suspension upgrades for '05 E320 CDI?

thinking of a used '05 CDI, but would really like to make the ride more sporty. Looking for easy mods like thicker anti-sway bars, 18" rims vs the standard 16". I would like MB components, like maybe the sport suspension sways and 18" rims, or AMG sways. anybody do this? Not interested in lowering.

It is all a question of how much you are willing to spend. I would think that all the suspension components from other 211 models (except those with airmatic) are interchangeable. You can simply get the suspension from the AMG sport package available on the E350 and swap all the parts in, but keep in mind the sport package comes slightly lower from the factory.

209/W210 Estate /W211 modded by MBENZNL
One can Install the AMG E55 Sway bars ...(NOTE)..The front sway bar is easy to swap out....The REAR is a PITA as the rear subframe MUST be dropped to swap out the REAR sway bar

Install a set of Sport Bilsteins
add a set of 18s or 19s

I added the bars to the wifes W211..It made a Huge difference ..without any change in the ride

Start with wheels and tires. Go all the way and get 4 used CLS series 18 inch alloys with good meats. Warning though: the fronts and rears are staggered.

The roadholding improves instantly. The front roll bar is already quite thick.

I put E55 18's on mine and handling went from floaty and unsettled to tight and crisp. It was a day and night difference!

How much did the AMG sway bar installs cost? How about the parts themselves? Also, can one install the better shocks on a car with airmatic suspension?
