What's so special about them that we can't do it From the outside they look like regular bulbs to me. I don't mean the brake lights because they are leds but the turn signal, parking and reverse lights.

They are xenon filled bulbs soldered to the control bulb. They are supposed to be lifetime bulbs. Why did one fail on you?

No it didn't fail..I was just wondering because they don't look much brighter than
regular bulbs, so the reason they are xenon filled is so they can last a lifetime?

Yeah its a mixture of gasses that actually glows when a current is introduced. I don't think there is a filament like your typical bulb per say.
