My 06 e350 hates the summer
Well its been warmer lately and I have notice my car acting up in the warmer air. Shift response in slower, if I step on the gas it will take longer to downshift and then at speeds it slower to upshift. Also if i park it in the sun once in awhile malfunction lights comes on like "esp malfunction" "cruise control drive to workshop" at the same time powersteering shuts off and cooling fan stays on even when engine been cooled down. Car is crazy in the warm 70 degrees and higher sets it off, anyone with similar problems? Taken to dealer numerous times and they say they see nothing wrong arghh!

Transmission:
Mention DTB P-B-27.60/61i AUG07 – they should do a thorough inspection inclusive of SDS adaptation and check for possible mechanical causes.
ESP & cruise control warning lights:
P-B-42.45/60c OCT07 – they should check the steering column module, ESP control unit, and steering angle sensor. Replacing the steering angle sensor usually solves this problem.

I would suggest you request a test drive with the shop foreman.

thats strange .... my a/c takes forever to get cold possibly needs more freon ... other than that if you feel your cars a little slower might want to do an ecu reset which was mention in couple threads ... https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...throttle+reset
