lowering springs

Does anyone know if the perch height on the factory front shocks are dif or the same as bilstein shocks. I just had eibach springs installed in my car and there is absolutely no dif in ride height in the front my mechanic put bilstein shocks in and the thinnest rubber pad at the top of the shock. The back of the car dropped and looks great but the front looks horrible just wondering if anyone has used eibach springs and if they used factory shocks or aftermarket

Maybe it just needs a little more time to settle (the springs)...I got my H&R springs put on this past Saturday and the car is 'settling' just fine today....

I had Eibachs on my CLK with Pro Dampers....really good ride and lowered nice, but with the E350, I didn't want the slammed ride, so the H&R's give me a nice look with good handling...

I had Eibachs installed last week on 4/28. Pic is on day 1 after about an hour after of install. I probably drove about 200-300 miles since then. As of today, I can stick 1 finger in the front gaps and 2 fingers in the rear gaps. It's has settle a little, but I'm hoping that the rears settle a little more for a more even stance. I've heard that H&R gives the slammed look. Stock shocks. Ride is very smooth.
