My 211 (Future 07/08 Conversion)
sup everyone
been on the forums for a little while
I recently got an 04 E500 from Rusnak. unfortunately, a lovely 1995 ford ranger pickup truck plowed into my right bumper about 4 days after I got it 15k in damages, new quarter panel, streched on jig etc.
it's been in the shop since and i'll be getting it back hopefully next week. the bodyshop farmers picked has been awesome and really flexible about updating the car with new parts (see the list @ the very bottom)
I'll post pics on this thread and show the progress (and the finished product eventually). I got some big plans for this car that you guys might like
I just got the wheels on today. 245/30/20 F, 275/30/20 R. The rear has the wrong size tire (Should be 285/25/20), but I'm gona burn them out before i replace them.
Brabus Monoblock VI in Flat Black
Rear Disassembled (Beautiful isnt it?)
Quaterpanel weld (grinded)
AMG Sport Pkg pedals (best $50 spent on a mod ever)
What's going on it in 1 1/2 weeks:
E55 Bumper & Quad Exhaust
08 E350 Front Bumper
07/08 W211 Grill in Flat Black
07/08 Tails w/ Smoked Center
07/08 Trunk
Lowering Via Linkage (~1")
40% VLT Tint
Also, if anyone's interested in my 17" stock E500 "Ankaa" wheels in chrome, check the link below:

2007 S550 (S65 Package)
its going to be a great car after its finished i can already see. but y dont you go with the E550 sport bumper, its the same thing as the E63 bumper but with out the side vents. it looks great on the car and the e350 bumper just looks like an ordinary E class. just my 2 cents oh and the wheels look hot .

I'm really sorry to hear about your crash and I hope you're back in your baby soon.
On a side note... what rims are those and how much did they cost?
Company/size/did they come colored?
Thanks

Updates:
Got some parts in/the car's coming along. my body shop in LA really takes their time and it's coming along nicely. Just ordered the E63 front bumper & 08 tails for a SICK price
PS any know of a high quality AMG rep spoiler that fits good? I'd shell out the $ for the OEM one, but I'm trying to keep my costs down now
Primered
E55 Mufflers
07/08 Trunk Panel (w/ Large Chrome Strip)
Black Grille
Also, due to the engine not being on & the airmatic not pumping, the wheels in the previous pics looked alot higher than they actually rode. im pleased to find that the car doesn't require lowering and they fill the gap nicely

EBay. $1400 for E55 rear bumper and the exhausts
thanks ill definitely check that out
Yeah I saw your thread. im really sorry that happend (ford explorers suck on so many levels).
post pics of your new car when you get it
Try this one, it fit really well on my E500. I got it off ebay. Painted them and put them on. Trust me, the 3m tape came with the spoiler really really help up really well even I got hitted hard from the back and pushed into the car in front of me. The quality is good too. It is Poly Urethane Plastic not those cheap fiberglass stuff. You can look at my wrecked un "Hit and Run. Did you see" topic.

Beginning to look like a car again...
Note: The mechanic spaced and put in the old tail lights. The 07/08 ones w/ the smoked middle will be in soon
E63 Bumper sanded and ready for paint
Car will return Thurs/Fri next week. Hopefully I'll be able to get the mufflers in before the weekend (my bodyshop doesnt weld mufflers )

It's DONE
I got the 20" monoblock VIs on today and the ride wasn't impacted too badly. imthinking im going to have to lower it an inch after those back tires go (the sidewall is ~4% too big). I've read that a mercedes dealer will do it for arond $180, but i heard that its not the best way to do it. anyone have any experience with it?
and ps, I dropped the $ for the e63 front bumper, and it was WORTH EVERY PENNY. highly reccomended mod
big thanks to mbworld. alot of my research on here was realy helpful for this whole process

Dude looks great! Do you have airmatic? If you do, invest in a Renntech ELM! Worth every penny! Also, did you get the euro to US plate adapter for your license plate? I had to go pick one up after I did the conversion for the trunk finisher.
