We Ordered It!!!
If you all remembered I asked questions about special order on the blue tint windows and dark wood interior. The answer was no deal. So we went with the sport package.
The car should be built this week. E 320 with Platinum Blue- Ash E2,E3, rear window shade, 6 CD changer, wood wheel, auto trunk, Nav (dealer installed), and heated seats(the only way we could get the fold down rear seats we are tired waiting for the E4 option).
So now all we have to do is wait. Thanks for all your input.

You can do your research right on this forum. It must be obvious that we think we pretty much have an answer for most anything.
Sometimes we appear to have several different answers to everything.
Seriously...there are a lot of people on this forum that can help you find answers to the MB E-series.

I ordered heated seats package (with heated steering wheel) and love both. The seats heat up very quickly and can get quite toasty. Fortunately, there are three heat settings. The package did not come with the folded rear seats, though it mentioned it on the sticker (I looked and could not find where to fold the seats). There was an introductory offer (~$100) to get the folding rear seats, but did not find out about it until too late.

if you see folder seats in your sticker then you should have it.
1. open your trunk
2. on the edge of lid, you will see two red buttons (the left one is for your left rear seat and the right one is for your right rear seat)
3. press the button to release the lock then your rear seats can be folded.
if you can't find these red buttons then you don't have folded rear seats.

answers to your questions
As I understand it you can only get the rear fold down seats if you order the heated seats. The fold down rear seat was the one thing -after the dark wood and blue tint windows my wife said she must have.
We ordered the car from Fletcher Jones.
I did not nail down the actual delivery date I just figured it is what it is, but sometime in Feb.
This will be our first MB except for about 30 years ago I rebuilt one and resold it but I was very impressed by the engineering even then.

Folding rear seat info.
The folding seats and the heated seats may be unrelated but they are according to MB of USA and our dealer bundled. Until MB releases the E4 package we were told the only way to get folding rear seats was to order the launch promotional E5 package.

The folding seat should show on your order as option 287 "Launch promotion/split fold down rear seat".
I think you'll find that if you cruise a lot of the signatures on this board, there are people with non-E5 cars in the US with the split rear seats.
Unless they're changing the rules of the game.

just checked again with MB of USA and was told the only way now to get folding rear seats was to order the E5 package. I was told the supplier in Europe could not keep up with the demand so it is only offered with the E5. So I guess the people who ordered cars early got a break.

The only combination when it comes to rear folding seats that I am aware of is that it MUST be ordered when ordering the Panoramic sunroof option.
Otherwise I think can be ordered separately.
