Is there a law against having these on license plates in CA? Is it ok to just have the clear ones and not the blue, smoked, or other colored ones or is it the same for all covers?

Thanks C-ROD77, that would be great. I'm always paranoid about buying online just cause I got shafted once on ebay and couldn't do anything about it.

gaazmon, I found a local store in San Antonio that carries the exact product we found on ebay...once i take pics on Friday and if you like'em I will PM you the info...and yes ebay does suck and allows scammers in..unfortunatley.
Well, being in the car business, I sort of know this one very well, ....in the great state of texas...the law goes as follows...no frame nor cover shall prevent a motor vehicle license plate from being in full view for any law enforcement in texas if it is it shall be punishable by f250.00 fine.(kind of like that) Funny how dealers still put on there advertising plates all over there vehicles right?
