Victim of Fraud
Hi! I am new here. I have just purchased a 2005 MB E-class for my wife and our son from out of state in MA and when the car shows up there are many problems not disclose prior to purchase. The dealer has been giving me all the excuses to fix my car for the past 3 weeks and nothing has gotten fix yet. On top of that, they are withholding the title to the car for whatever excuses they are making up as well. Please help me! I am desperate in needing some advice. Thank you very much in advance.

Ebay transaction? Car under warranty? Private party or dealer sale? Sounds like you should be talking to an attorney.

I found the car from auto trader.com and the car is over 50k. It is a dealer sale but not authorize dealer. What really puzzle me is the fact that they are holding the title to the car as if they are doing it intentionally to make me suffer. Please check your PM.

Why dont you post your story, so that others may learn from your transaction...and hopefully it will educate others not to fall inot the same trap.
I agree with Polar, disclose more info, let the story out, so we can all help out.

What do you actually want to do now? Get the title, or send the car back? I agree with PolaBear - you probably need to talk to an attorney. A strongly worded letter on attorney letterhead, will indicate to the dealer that you are serious about this.

Apparently they have been reported to BBB, MA State Attorney General and sued many times and they seem to not care about their clients. 55fanatic care to share your experience with them. I am kind of in a legal process with them and would like to hear other's experience. Sorry I can't share detail of my story yet and was told by my attorney to chili until things get resolved. I want to make sure nobody gets screwed like I did so I don't mind to share my story as long as it's not in public now. Thank you very much for your time.

Get a lawyer, cus no one knows anything about the deal you made. If you have sighned a contract and made your payments as required the car should have been put in your name right away. You would have had to insure the car right? The car has to be put in your name to do so. This sound very strange.
