I recently installed a EURO COMAND to replace APS50 Comand in a US Spec E55 AMG. The navigation works great but the in-cluster display does not show directions and there is no manu option to do so. Is there any additional action that needs to be taken - i.e in-cluster update by Mercedes dealer?

I guess you mean Audio 50, not APS50? Audio 50 APS is a European head unit and already supports navigation (that is what APS stands for).

You already got the advice for the cluster. It isn't a SW update but version coding.

Thanks for the update. I have scheduled a service appointment with a local dealer to do the version coding next week.
