What Size Are The Metric Screws that are used to fasten the REAR license plate to the full size shiny metal rear plate mount on an '07? I know they are thicker than the screws that were used on the rear plate of an '04, which didn't have that full sized plate mount, but rather screwed into little holes in the deck lid.

On the 2008 wagon, there are threaded receivers (sort of like nuts welded into the sheet metal) in the hatchback for the license plate screws. Every other car I've had used plastic anchors for the license plate screws, which are easily stripped. The MB approach seems very high quality.
