Driver side mirror cracked?

Driver side mirror cracked?
I am not sure why, but I don't remember seeing my side mirror like that until today after the car wash. the left side mirror seems cracked from the inside, not outside. I bought the car used, and I have had it about exactly an month. But I don't remember seeing that at all until today. Since it's not cracked outside, I wonder if this is covered under the warranty.
I have not switched the owner name yet at MB USA, I wonder if the dealer will let me do a warranty or not?
Do any of you have any issues like this before? I am just trying to figure out why and how easy is to get the side mirror to crack. also if they don't cover under the warranty, how much is going to cost me buy a new mirror that dimmes and how hard is it to replace it myself?

We have replaced dozens on the 211's.
