Question to 08 W211 owners...
have you thought about painting the chrome bars and circle that surround the fog lights either the color of the car its on or just black? I am really not a fan of them. Curious to see if people have gotten creative with stuff like this. I did a lot of small paint work on my W204 that I thought made a big difference. What do you guys think? Anyone tried it?

I LOOOVE the chrome around the fog lights! Actually I took the car to get washed on Saturday and I happened to be sitting on a chair as it came out of the car wash. The first thing I saw was those beautiful chrome light rings 
But hey, to each his own! -- If you're planning on painting them, I assume you want to make them dissapear. I would go with black to match the plastic piece they are mounted on.
Take a close up picture of one of them and I'll Photochop it for you to see how it looks.
