2009/2010 New E Class
Will the new body E class come out as 2009 or 2010 model? There are a lot of spy shots, etc., but nothing clear when the new model will arrive.

I thought it was understood that W212 will be a 2010 model year that we'll see late in calendar year 2009. The 2009 W211 is the end of the run.

The dates have been posted multiple times but it makes no difference when potential buyers want it sooner and ask again, hoping to get a different answer.

To be fair, the OP is a Newbie with only 2 posts, so we can't expect him to scan years of posts first. Its so simple for him to just ask... and its not like we have to get back to our jobs so fast that we can't just answer the question.
If after a few weeks he's just too lazy to try a search, thats different.

Its so simple for him to just ask... and its not like we have to get back to our jobs so fast that we can't just answer the question.

Anyway a fair comment, if it takes less time to answer than complain, better to answer. By the way, the "official rumour" is that W212 is released at March 2009 in Europe and likely a bit later in the US (like the W211 was, the W221 was etc.).
