How often update software for your NAV
How often you have to update you NAV ? I have mine NAV update back to 04-08 because it lock up one day constantly shows "loading" take it back to Dealer have software up-date and also have new 2008 NAV DVD installed....but two months later NAV shows "loading" again #x$%xx back to different dealer few days later they told me it needs newer software again ???? is that meaning Mercedes NAV system constantly needs up date every other two months ? or do I have problem with my NAV system ? I have 2005 E320 with us NAV.

Sounds like your DVD-drive is faulty, a brand new DVD probably just worked with it for a while.
The Navigation disc would not need to be updated at all if roads did not change (at least where you drive). There are some SW updates that improve the navigation device/Comand head unit performance but the issue you describe is different.
