Mmm, have they straightened the back up more? One thing I like about my W211 wagon over the W210 is the sloping back, or fast back as I call it. The spy photo of the rear seems like they pitched it inbetween the W211 and W210 angle.

Front looks awesome

Not a huge fan of the Rear's treatment!

I prefer the sloping back also, I assume the taillights are missing covers or something because the ones in the picture are ugly too. I prefer the front of the 211 also, I love the oval lights. No listing for the TDI as a power plant option, looks like I will be staying where I am at for a while.

There should be a Bluetec version coming out from my understanding. This new design is starting to grow on me rather quickly.

I love that new bold front end.

I'm considering an estate body style after my current lease ends in April of 2010 - hope MB will continue to bring an AMG version to the U.S. unlike BMW and Audi.

Wife isn't crazy about the estate, arguing that the saloon body is perfectly practical. My parents have an '05 E500 4MATIC estate and I really like it, so am seriously considering one.

North Americans though can't seem to really appreciate the estate body style...too bad.

The estate is bar none the best design for any estate IMO. Plus the AMG estates seem to handle better than the saloon's.

That's entirely possible - back in the early '90s, Volvo raced the 850 in the estate body style in the BTCC!

Here's hoping AMG will continue to bring both body styles to the U.S. market place.
