if you can try to get both, get both, the keylessgo is a really good option, it isnt the best technical feature, and you dont need it, but it is really fin when you use it

If you can only have ONE... definately go with the sunroof. Keyless go is "cool" but may not add to your resale value like a sunroof would.
Also, a car of this stature and price, should definately have a sunroof.

The standard Smart-key, in my opinion, is still plenty cool.

I agree, go for the sunroof. It's a must have. The Keyless-Go is just a feature which can be troublesome as reported by some.

The novelty ends after the first time you show it off to your friends. The sunroof you enjoy day after day.

I agree

Go with the sunroof. Useful every day. And I hate sunroofs (pale skin-cancer prone white boy who hates the heat).

Better yet, go with the pano roof. Sunroof plus novelty cool!

vraa, starting MY2003 no more credit cards. Chip is now imbedded in key, so you have to carry it with you anyway.

Some early prduction models still came with the credit card transponder. Mercedes has now switched all Keyless Go units over to the smart key with the transpnder. The reason I have been told has been becuase too many people were sitiing on the credit card transponders and breaking them.

An E without a sunroof?
No way.
A sunroof should be standard on an E.

The keyless go is a fun gimmicky gadget, but hardly a basic necessity.

You could actually hurt the resale value of the car without a sunroof.

Agree with AMG55 - Get the Sunroof ... Keyless go is nice but not necessary.

I don't blame them, we lost a key (lol) in the car once. According to the service mechanic it was in teh front of the car while according to my salesman it was inside the seat. Bleh, i hate dealers sometimes!

akmal31, just to clarify....panorama sunroof! In Canada, regular sunroof is standard on both E320/500, but panorama sunroof (#413) is optional @ CDN$1,850.

Moonroof all the way. I'm big-time into technology and the K-G just doesn't do it for me if you need a key with you - sorry.
