US vs. CANADA speedo
hey there -
I'm looking at picking up an E500 from the U.S. (WAY cheaper than buying one domestically),
but to import it into Canada I have to alter the car to make it meet Canadian standards.
That said, two questions:
1) Does the speedo have KM/h on it? Is there an "Imperial/Metric" conversion button for the dash and temperature gauges and what not?
2) Does the car come with DRLs? Or, do I have to add that module?

05 clk 55 conv., 03 E500, 01 E55, 03 F350, FJR1300....
To meet Canadian safety standards you will have to replace US cluster with Canada spec cluster, and that will set you back over $ 1000.00 as well the work can only be completed by MB dealer in Canada (something to do with the BRAKE icon, and daytime running lights activation). Do a search, there are a few other mods required before you will be able to register in Canada.
