Although rumor still has it the 2010 Mercedes E-Class won't be making its debut until the International Auto Show in Frankfurt next year, that hasn't stopped Auto Bild from showcasing the model in their newest publication. In the article, the model is displayed from a number of different angles, all without the masking that up until now it's been adorned with.

Kind of Fugly. I was thinking of buying a 2010 e class. i hope it does not look like this. I will have to wait and see.

That a$$ is nasty. Why is it that the Camry, ES300, new TL, Maxima (among a few others) all have the same/very similar tails? Isn't anyone creative and unique anymore?

If this is true, looks like MB is trying hard to chase BMW in "What German can make the closes copy to either Japanese or American car" contest.

How wonderful! A Caddy from the front and an Accord from the back!

Good to see you're still around HONAH. Bought the SL65 in early June. It's an '06 with less than 2,000 miles when I bought it. With the V12 Biturbo and convertible factor, the XKR sits in the garage most of the time now. BTW....looks like Jeff (W211 Ryda) is selling his car.

Yeah, I know in person it's a different story, but the profile and lines of this are not my thing at all. It looks like they're going back to the 90's. It looks alot more "run of the mil" to me, look at the back bumper lines, looks like a mass volume Hyundai or something, no nice elegant curves or anything. The whole side profile just screams "average joe mobile" to me.

Also I don't personally like how they're going back to the look with the Taillights on the bottom of the rear deck either.

Oh well. At least they didn't give it the bangle butt.

Can't say I don't feel a bit saddened by how I see the Car currently

Yea, I still lurk here when I have time.... I really stopped learning about my ride years ago here and most of the very good info now posted here really doesn't relate to my "old" 04.... The E 500 has been very good to my wife and I. It has just over 60,000 miles on it and I never get tired of driving it. Definatly no regrets buying it and plan to keep it for about 5 years more....
