brake sensor trip
my friend did his own brakes. the wear indicator is still on.
he did not replace the sensor...should this make a difference for the light still being on. i know for my w208, as long as the tip of the sensor is not contacting metal (rotor), it will not trip.
anyways he is asking me to look at it and try to get rid of the light.
is it possible to do without the sds.
i know how to reset the fss on the w211, will this make the indicator reset also?

I would also change the sensor but the wear indicator would not go even if the sensors are OK, you have to clear it. I don't remember how it worked but someone at the forum did it and gave a good guide how to do it, a search would help.
