NHTSA Complaint Web Site
Just some information some of you in the US may find helpful. The US Department of Transportation has a web site where comsumers can file complaints against a car company for safety related issues. The failure of the gateway control module certainly fits. The site claims that it will investigate if a recall is required based on numbers of people submitting the same type of complaint and severity of the complaints.
The site is:
http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/ivoq/index.cfm
You can also call 1-888-327-4236 and register your problem with a real person if you would prefer.
