COMAND/Navigation system-response from Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC
I sent emails about the possible delay in the Navigation system from the contacts listed on the Mercedes Lemon site. One email came back undeliverable, however I received this....
Currently we estimate Feb/Mar production for the COMAND/Navigation system on
the E-Class.

Good job drb....that is the first "official" information that I have seen . Up to now it is just the dealer or service manager guessing at what might happen.
Now....if they would just give us a small clue as to what the unit might actually be in the US. Surely they know what they are going to deliver in February. Seems like they could release a little infomation to those of us that paid them money up front not knowing what we are getting. (Is that like a "command in a poke"?)
We have seen the UK site, etc., but they also say it is an all new system and not like the European units.

I agree Ed. They must have a very good idea of what features the system will have it is going to be made available in two months or so. They should give us some info. They owe their customers that much!
