Any Mechanics? Need some advice....
I took my car to my mechanic who was rotating tires and examining random things when he noticed something odd on the undercarriage. He was looking at around the differential when he noticed that there were two holes, one of which contained some kind of bushel (left) while the other was empty (right).
He's more of an old-school kinda guy and hasn't dealt with a car like this before, but he was curious whether or not it was designed like this. I had other obligations at the time so I didn't have the time to fully diagnose, and thats why I'm posing this question to you knowledgeable board members.
Any help? I'm attaching a couple pictures.
