Why not just use the key when it is really hot out or the car has been baking in the sun? At least MB is one of the few makes to still offer the functionality of the key even if you have Keyless Go.
All of their new cars will feature the Keyless Go button on the key opening on the dash like in the S/CL/M/R/GL. It is just a matter of time as the different vehicles are redesigned.

Hey guys, I parked next to this car at lunch yesterday. Thank goodness I had my camera handy. You think the owner of this E350 would agree with us that the Keyless Go button gets too hot? LOL!
