I have my car over 4 years now and my windshield wipers have not been working properly from day one. I kept forgetting to mention every time I took the car in service. The wipers do not wipe the rain well as they return and made those hesitation sound. It seems like the blades need to be align or something. I was just wondering anyone else have this problem and solutions.
Thanks

I've never experienced that on my cars. Have you tried getting new wiper blades ? Mine were a little noisy and during my service they fixed them by giving me a new set. They have been quiet since then.
If you figure it out, please let me know. Vehicle is garaged 90% of the time so it is not UV. They are like fingernails on a chalkboard. I use rain-x just so I can keep from going insane. It is without doubt the most annoying weakness in the car. I have seen previous threads about dealer adjustments, new blades, new wiper assemblies. etc. I guess nothing works in every situation.
There was a known fix for certain years/wipers that didn't wipe well and stuttered across the glass. It involved a special jig that bent the wiper arm, and there was a change of blade. Search the Forum (unless someone who had the problem chimes in).

- inspect wiper blades/inserts and replace as needed
- clean the windshield
- verify use of correct washer fluid
- check washer nozzle adjustment
- check wiper arm angle and adjust if needed
FYI for members under warranty, this is a no cost procedure inclusive of wiper replacement.
