E-Class (W211) 2003-2009

Is it me or do the non-airmatic 03-06 w211s sit lower in the rear?

Is it me or do the non-airmatic 03-06 w211s sit lower in the rear?

OR is the wheelbase in the back just smaller? I thought it was just the rwd w211's but I notice them on some of the awds. I mean it looks kind of awkward, especially when I see pics on here with 18/19/20 inch rims. Looks like there is deadweight in the back and the car is sinking in the back.

Think it might be how the body panel is designed in the rear...

I agree w/ Frank,the design is 'down in the front,and up in the back ,look at my car below ,and I have 17"s all around...

No I am saying the opposite. It looks low in the back, high in the front.I can't really tell on yours. I need side profile pics.

Porsche Macan S SportDesign / Ex M-B's: 11 & 10 & 06 E350's, 02 S500
It's for more ground clearance in the front. I have a lowered Sport Suspension from the factory and it's still lower in the back than it is in the front.

Also, O/T but just out of curiosity, how can you have an '03 E350 (in your sig)

yup, mistake in my sig. Should say 320 not 350..
