What Is the COMAND Blue Tooth For?

I upgraded my comand to the euro version, and the settings has a bluetooth menu where it will actually search for devises...

What type of devises can be used? Because a phone is certainly not one of them!

I'm not sure about the W211, on my W221 a phone can talk with Comand, but it is only for sending visitor card info from the phone to Comand (to be stored on the Comand phone book). In addition the Comand BT allows me to use a BT headset connected to Comand. One can use it for privacy calls (does not prevent others in the car listening what you say ). I don't use it as I have the Euro BT adapter with a privacy handset.

Only later models like W204 (or W211 with the new NTG2.5 Comand) allow HF calling through Comand BT.

You need a BT receiver (PUCK or whichever unit works with your system) but even after that ,the only BT device thats recognized is the phone.....as far as i know..
