I bought I-forged Daytonas 19" in a group buy about 11/2 years ago. I swapped them out for the original Mercedes 17" rims today after getting a flat. I could not believe that all four rims have dents on the inside of the wheel. The weird part was that the outside or visible part of the rim was not bent. I'm wondering if anyone who has bought I-forged wheels has noticed this problem and I want to warn anyone who is considering this product.

It's not just I-forged. You're gonna have bends like that happen on any 19 or 20 inch wheel you run on these cars. These cars come with 16"-17" stock, so upsizing +2 or more means that the profile of the tire has to get smaller and smaller to keep from uncompromising the rolling diameter. This means less tire protection for the rim.
Question: Did you feel any vibrations at all? Vibrations at 50mph+ are a indicator of out of balance/bent wheel issues.
Depending on road conditions in your area, assume 2-3 wheel repairs per year if you're going to run 19"+ wheels.
2-3 wheel repairs per year sound rather steep. I did notice a vibration above 65 mph as you mentioned. I think that you are right in thinking that 19 or 20's create a situation with less wheel protection due to tire thinness. I still wonder thought if BBS wheels or Kinesis wheels have this same problem. Just so you know one of my four wheels was bent when I first got it. I-forged stated that it was probably due to mishandling by UPS.. I have a feeling that these wheels are quite weak if they can be bent so easily in shipping. Just my opinion.
I-forged are one of the better brands out there, it's just a fact of running the larger diameter wheels with the smaller sidewall tires. You have the sacrafice protection for the performance and looks. It's the nature of the beast.
I personally have seen cracked and or bent Lowenharts (my previous set multiple times), BBS wheels (even 1 piece forged), iFORGED, HRE, Asanti (probably the worse of them all) and the list literally goes on.
1 piece 2 or 3 piece wheels. The taller wheel you go with the smaller the side wall is meaning less protection for the wheel. 19's would be ideal but they just look too small on some cars.
