STAR DIAGNOSTICS
HAS ANYONE BOUGHT A MB STAR DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM FROM THE CHINESE FOR HIS PERSONAL USE. ARE THERE ANY LEGAL CONSEQUENCES

Specifically if you use those on your car. 
I guess you are aware that these are no Star but a copy. They may work fine but may stop working too when MB introduces some tricks at DAS. Unfortunately the genuine SDS isn't easily available and not any good option.

HOW COULD MB INTRODUCE A TRICK AT DAS THAT CAN AFFECT MY SYSYEM OR MY CAR. I MAY NOT BE ABLE TO USE IT ON LATER MODEL CARS(2009 ONWARD) THAT I UNDERSTAND. CAN YOU EXPLAIN PLEASE.

Of course you can trust on hackers dealing with it but that is another story.
